Our June meeting was a happy, busy session with lots of knitting, crochet and stitching going on. Granny squares were taking shape on the crochet front, lovely little hats had been knitted for premature babies to add to the charity knitting collection, knitted items were taking shape, Roman blinds were nearing completion and a beautiful patchwork quilt was being hand quilted. In addition, for those who wanted to try their hand at some simple patchwork, there was the opportunity to make a little patchwork pincushion. It’s no wonder the time flew by!
Everyone is most welcome to join us. It’s a relaxed informal gathering where anything goes. Bring anything you are currently working on but don’t worry if you’ve got nothing on the go. There’s always a little workshop going on that you can get involved with.
Pom-poms, tassels and knitted bunting: Our next meeting will offer the chance to have a go at making pom-poms, tassels and knitted bunting all of which can be used for decoration. Bring knitting needles and yarn if you have them. Don’t worry if not as I will have plenty available for you to use.
