Church, News
Sunday 15th November saw a totally new departure for our church service. We all met in the Village Hall; over 50 were there. There were a number of different activities connected with the story of Noah’s Ark. We made paper boats that floated, created animal faces on paper plates, made Lego arks and sorted animals into their places of origin. Kelvin then told the story of Noah. Eddie Perks made a superb Noah giving the children hammers and wood which were greeted with huge enthusiasm and much noise! There were parts for all the children followed by the Arky Arky song which got everyone singing and wriggling to the rhythm. We rounded off with Lynda’s delicious hot dogs, and chocolate cake. It was so good to see so many families all participating together in our family service - a rather different format this month! Thank you so much to everyone who came and to all those who helped. Hannah and Lucy.
