The Coffee Mornings in the village hall on Wednesday mornings from 10.30 onwards, which were started before Christmas have gone from strength to strength, despite the disappearance of the mobile shop. Proper coffee, home-made biscuits (different each week thanks to Hannah and Janie’s family cookbook), morning papers and chat make it a very pleasant break from housework and other chores.
