The Early History of Two Planted Settlements
A Talk by Elizabeth Round
Ashford Carbonel Village Hall
Tuesday September 13th 2016 7.30pm
The talk is about the early histories of both Ludlow and Richard castle settlements, why one grew into a town and the other did not. Both were deliberately created on the outside of a castle, to support the castle community, so why did one fail and not the other?
