MANY thanks to those who donated so many jars for my Marmalade sessions, as a result of which I have over 100 jars of marmalade made! You will find them for sale in the church, the proceeds of which, during Lent will go to Water Aid. This is a charity that provides CLEAN water to so many areas of Africa. We take water so much for granted – but travelling to find any water every day is a necessity for thousands of people and when they find it is dirty and disease ridden.
There are “Jars for change“ in the church if, during Lent you would like to fill a jar with loose change.
