Hope House Children’s Hospices

We very much hope that those who joined us on Wednesday 3rd April enjoyed the talk by Nick Dunn and the ploughman’s supper. We would like to thank all those who helped in anyway, obviously Nick was the main player and he was extremely generous with two expensive shrubs donated to the raffle (one of which is now planted behind our farmhouse). Mark & Wendy Woodward, whose market stall is in Castle Square, donated the cheese and Matthew and David ran the bar – thank you all again.
At 3.00pm on the afternoon of Sunday 9th June, Tammy Westbrook, an RHS Chelsea Flower Show judge will present ‘Chelsea comes to Tinkers Hill – a gardening experience.’ She will give a talk which will include an insider’s view of judging the show, this year’s’ trends in garden design, garden tasks for June and finally answer any gardening questions. Afternoon tea included. Bar available. There will be a plant stall and any donations of plants will be greatly appreciated. Tickets £10 (children free) available on the door or in advance from Marilyn at the Clees or Ashford Farm.
