The Knit & Stitch Craft Group will restart its monthly meetings at 2pm on Monday 15th September. It will be good to meet up after the short summer break and to share ideas for the Autumn and Winter sessions.
Please do bring along whatever project you are working on. It’s good to share and to see who’s doing what. Now’s the time to decide what to make for your handmade Christmas gifts and stocking fillers. A handmade gift makes such a lovely present. Remember there is a sewing machine available at all our sessions with help at hand should you need it. It’s very handy for doing all those sewing jobs and alterations you’ve been meaning to get round to as well as running up little gifts.
There will be a workshop on Dorset Buttons for those who want to have a go. Bring a little sewing kit and some old brass or plastic curtain rings if you have any. But don’t worry if not as all materials can be supplied.
