The Ludlow Friends have had two events in Ashford since I last wrote. The ‘Trees for Life’ evening turned out to be better (and more fun!) than any of us could have hoped and raised a total of £776. Special thanks go to Matthew & David for their efforts behind the bar. The coffee morning here at the farm also turned out well. Thank you to all who supported us, your generosity is very much appreciated. A total of £849.90 was raised including donations.
Our next Friends event is ‘Christmas by Candlelight’ featuring carols and songs by Bella Acapella, the ladies four part harmony choir who will be performing at St Peter’s Church on Saturday 13th December, 7.30 for 8.00. Tickets at £6 available from the farm or on the door.
Also Rockspring Community Choir are supporting Hope House with ‘Carols By Candlelight’ at Dinham Millennium Green on Thursday 11th December, 7.00pm – 8.45pm. All welcome. Refreshments available in the form of mince pies and mulled wine.
