Many thanks to everyone who helped to support, organise and deliver the amazing concert that was held in the Bishop Hooper School in Ashford Carbonell on Saturday 18th October.
The visiting choir from Tring, Hertfordshire, children from the school, and villagers entertained us with a variety of songs, choral works and recitations. Some were serious, others humorous. It was wonderful to hear the children still giggling, long after the applause had subsided.
An amazing sum of £794.35 was raised from ticket sales, food and the raffle. This sum will be shared equally between Ashford Carbonell Village Hall, Bishop Hooper School and St.Mary Magdalene Church…….a true community!
