On Sunday 10th July, Kelvin lead a wonderful family service in aid of Sea Sunday. A Charity that has been caring for seafarers for the last 160 years. Chaplains support the seafarers on their ships and are in contact with their families. The response was great and a large congregation attended the service. The amount received and sent to the Mission to Seafarers was £104.50. The Church had a certain fishy feel having been decorated with shells and boats, nets and even a shark! Kelvin talked to the children on the theme of Fishers of Men and then invited them to write some prayers… here are one or two of the results.
